About

My jewellery is all made by me by hand in the UK and so each piece will be unique.I believe we have to treat the world around us with respect and so my jewellery, I hope, is a reflection of this. I try to source my materials ethically, many of my pieces are made from recycled or found materials, as well as from organic sources. For example I use organic hemp, (which is better for the environment as it uses no toxic chemicals), recycled plastics (such as plastics collected whilst beachcombing, which has washed up and which otherwise not only looks unsightly, but can harm and kill wildlife), household plastics such as shampoo bottles and containers that would otherwise go in the bin, scrap metal (which is reused by cutting and drilling to make pendants). I also experiement with beads, fimo, shells, pebbles, solder, clay and threads to make unique and unusual pieces.

I am inspired by the world around me, by nature and by the sea and love to experiment with different materials and tools to make something new and wearable.
